The article says they would be genetically fraternal, which has to be true given that the mother and father are identical in both cases. The children will be both genetically and phenotypically different from each other due to the endless quirks in gene expression and selection, but that is equally true in all siblings. Which is why I’m genetically different to my brother despite having the same parents.
