  1. Space doesn’t have a smell. There are no particles to be sensed. Plus, astronauts are never in direct contact with space to detect any “smells”.

      There are no particles in space, eh? Someone needs a science lesson. Aside from the immense amount of solar radiation and high energy particles, there is a lot of dust and debris from space junk orbiting the Earth. Even deep space isn’t a total vacuum (very close but not quite), much less the lower orbital space of Earth.
      “Plus, astronauts are never in direct contact with space to detect any “smells”.”
      Let me make this explanation a bit easier for someone of your… mental… status…
      Space-walk … walking IN SPACE … DIRECTLY CONTACTING SPACE with like… EVERYTHING they’re wearing.

    whilst space is a vaccum, particles still travel through it.
